When it comes to Summer dressing (particularly holiday dressing) for the kids I want quick and easy. And this doesn’t mean compromising on style – I just don’t want to be faffing about deciding what goes with what when we could already be out enjoying the sunshine. So my Summer go-to for Tabitha is always, always a dress. Just chuck it on with a pair of sandals and go. Easy, comfy, pretty – what’s not to love about that? I was just having a quick look at what’s new in Mango (for us) and got side-tracked by the fact that this gorgeous dress is back in stock (I missed out on it the first time – this time I didn’t hang around – it’s winging it’s way to Richmond as we speak!!), as well as these super-sweet frilled baby dresses (they go up to age three though). And how great is this Marni-esque printed dress? A bit more of an Autumn buy perhaps, but no less lovely.
ps: I saw this dress recently when I was judging the Junior Design Awards, and it’s gorgeous. I have to say, I don’t think I would have been drawn to it from this image though – it’s so much nicer in real life. And less ‘orange’, more rusty burnt-orange. Gorge.
pps: popped into The White Company store on Sloane Square this morning. This baby girl’s cotton swimming costume is SO sweet!! I was honestly considering trying to squeeze poor Tabs into the 18-24 months (in my defence the sizing did look quite generous!!). It’s on sale too!
