The Best Boys Fatigue Jackets

I was having  a little think about what to post today (don’t worry – I never struggle for ideas – quite the opposite in fact!), and really started thinking about the pieces in our wardrobes that I’m really loving and that are ‘working hard’ for me and the kids right now. And Marlow’s army-style jacket (above) is definitely up there. I bought Marlow this Gap one months ago (he loves it because it’s the same as mine!). And now the weather’s getting milder, it’s the only jacket he wants to wear (and believe me, he is as fussy about his jackets as he is about his cashmere content). I have to say it’s a really good one – lightweight cotton, pockets (my two love a pocket – the more the better!), a great shape, and just a great overall style. I prefer it without the hood on show, but it is handy if you’re caught out. Marlow wears a size small and he’s (just) seven and it’s pretty roomy. I also love it for the same reasons I love mine (and have so many!!) – it just goes with pretty much everything. So you don’t to stop and think about what jacket to chuck on. Easy. Here are a few others I’m loving too though…

ps: Gap does a good baby and toddler one too
