I do love an M&S sale (I can never quite understand why some sales get me more excited than others – there’s really no rhyme or reason to it, whether it’s Matches, La Redoute or Bonpoint…), particularly their ‘Home Event’ sales (yep there’s one on now, with up to 30% off, and not just off a handful of things either – pretty much everything is reduced). I had actually only been looking at their home things the other day, to update the Home Shop (still lots of lovely things in the current edit). There are quite a few things I have earmarked for for myself (love this vintage style eiderdown (above) for starters – it would be lovely on a child’s bed). Plus I already have quite a few of these things already. I love this (a bargain, even full price when I bought mine) washed cotton duvet cover (I love the white and the (perfect shade of) pale pink) and fitted sheet. I have them both. Thank you to lovely Twig at Minford for the tip-off a while back. I have found actual linen bedlinen can be a little too rough in the past (well sheets anyway). These look great and feel super-soft.
I have this and love it (sorry, I know, SO dull…). But perfect for quickly rustling up some broccoli or carrots for the kids’ tea. I also have this set of bowls (again, sorry…) for baking. Love the colours (very ‘pleasing’ – much nicer in reality – I bought them in store). When I say ‘baking’, I mean when I rustle up a cake with the kids, once in a blue moon. I also like the cream version of this turquoise crackle crockery too.
Anyway, lots of other lovely bits and pieces (I’ve done my edit of my favourites below), so definitely worth checking out for yourself here.
ps: the pre-sale prices are the ones shown below.
pps: another dull, but useful sale bargain. I’m all about the under bed storage.
