Ok, so this is a bit of a NEWS FLASH post ladies! Ok, so there may be a little something called a general election happening today, but politics will never come between me and a great fashion purchase. Fact. Anyway, this dress made it to my ‘What To Wear To A Wedding’ edit, but I must confess to not having seen it in person – I just liked the look of it online. Until this morning. I had a breakfast meeting with my ex Fashion and Creative Director at Red, Nicola, and in she walked, wearing this dress. I asked if it was the M&S one?? Yep. Oh my God! Ok, so I’m going to keep this as to-the-point as possible, for fear of sounding like a QVC presenter. This dress is GORGEOUS. One hundred times nicer in person! It honestly looks like a different dress. A designer dress. The fabric is gorgeous; it’s navy (this is more important than it sounds); has a fab tie neck detail at the back (wear it tied in a bow ladies); the length is cool; the frill sleeves are a cool but subtle detail; and finally, the neck isn’t as high as it looks in the pics (that was a tiny question mark for me before). If I was to tell you that the Editor of Red asked Nicola if it was Roksanda, you didn’t hear that from me…
Needless to say, I could not get online fast enough!! I love the idea of it with a high sandal (it really would make a great ‘wedding’ dress, but equally would love it with trainers for every day.

ps: I know these sandals, although totally dreamy, are pricey. So try these for a cheaper alternative.
