Mango Must Haves

I have had my eye on this ‘Committed Collection’ from Mango for a while now, and two things in particular – this oversized cotton blouse and these ‘paper bag’ (or rouched if you prefer) waist trousers. They look WAY more expensive than Mango, and they are hitting all the right style notes for right now.
Fast-forward to Mallorca where I am (still) working at the moment. One of my favourite models (and friends), Inguna (@ingunabutane) arrived at the hotel on Monday wearing these exact two pieces, at the same time, and looked totally AMAZING. Ok, so I know what you’re thinking – she’s a model – of course they look all kinds of amazing on her (true – she could wear wear pretty much anything and still look incredible, that is her job after all), but it was also the cut, quality and details that I was seriously impressed with. And I figured if I (a so-called ‘normal’ person) could look, even half as amazing as Inguna, then I’m in. So they’re on their way…

ps: a lot of ‘fashion insiders’ are talking about how Mango is so hot on Zara’s heels these days, and that are fast-becoming the front-runner. And you know what I also love about Mango? It’s just a bit more under the radar than Zara. You don’t run the same risks of seeing everyone else wearing your new purchase. Although, this is probably about to change…

pps: this is a quick snap I took of Inguna wearing her outfit when we were breaking for lunch on set on Tuesday. I mean.
