The Outnet January Edit

Quilted coat | Isabel Marant

Ok, so I have discovered a pattern. As someone who can get easily distracted (working from home at least 40% of the time does not help), it’s just dawned on me that the same thing happens pretty much every time I write a blog post. I have an idea about something I want to post about (which can literature be triggered by anything and everything, and from anywhere), I start researching – sourcing pictures, finding products, writing… Then somewhere during this process I come across something else that distracts me, and diverts me, and sends me off on a totally different path, and ultimately onto a different post. Today’s post is a case in  point. I had started compiling a boys post this morning, about a particular combination of colours that I am liking at the moment (you’ll see it for yourself in a couple of days…), and for some reason I hopped onto The Outnet to have a little nosey (it had been a while, but a someone with very little self control when it comes to online shopping, I try not to make too much of a regular habit of), and found quite a few fab things – enough to warrant sharing in a post. And I have to say, this coat (but I LOVE how it was styled at the show as a coat/coat-dress is one of my favourite finds. I also love this long shirt (either worn with black tights and boots now) or on holiday with flat tan sandals; this skirt (again for holidays, with a slouchy grey or white tee or pretty blouse, and tan sandals); and if you’re in the market for a  totally dreamy ‘wow’ dress, then surely this is ‘The One’…

ps: and now I’m annoyed with myself because I have been trying SO hard not to spend, and now I REALLY want this coat (if only the legs came with it…).

ps: someone was wearing these trousers at a meeting the other day, and they looked amazing on her!! I had to ask her where they were from, so here you go. There are only a few sizes left unfortunately, but if you happen to be one of them, I would definitely recommend a purchase. They come up quite long, but look great long worn with trainers.
