My M&S Accessories Edit

When M&S asked if I would like to collaborate with them, but specifically focusing on accessories, I immediately took on the challenge. I am such an M&S fan anyway – I’m always in that store for one reason or another (food, clothes, school uniform, bedding, birthday cakes, flowers, more food…)! Even my luggage is M&S (it’s great by the way)! Now by ‘challenge’, I simply mean that, although I do regularly buy things for myself in M&S (including the occasional accessory), I would probably be less likely to swoop in on the accessories. I couldn’t wait to start researching (which you may have seen on my Insta Stories), and was straight in the High Street Ken store, trying on dozens of pairs of shoes. My favourites are all in my edit below. Then the bags (and wallets – I LOVE this wallet – such a good one), then the jewellery. I’m  pretty (VERY) picky about all these categories, but I found great things in each. And not just things I would be happy to share with you here, but things that I have also since bought and worn.
My most recent discovery is these . They remind me so much of a pair of bow courts that Isabel Marant once did. They’re fab on! Perfect with jeans and a sweatshirt (the only way to wear one’s bow shoes in my opinion…). The only glitch is that they are in the ‘wide fitting’ collection. Who knew? So if your feet are on the narrower side, these probably won’t work for you. But definitely worth a try. I didn’t see this in any of the stores I looked in, but they have them online. The pink are cute too.
My absolute favourites are my navy crescent cross-body bag, my navy suede kitten heels, my gold bracelet, my navy wallet and my black bow courts (I just need to try a smaller size…)

ps: I picked up this hat (in khaki) for Tom when I was in M&S today, collecting the gold bracelet, which I’d ordered online (wearing it right now). He loves the ‘tram/train driver’ style (not to be confused with a ‘baker boy’ or ‘flat cap’. He loves it. Wore it today in fact! And trust me, he is VERY picky about what he wears.
