Come Shopping With Me!

I am very excited about an upcoming shopping event that I am hosting with the lovely boutique, Iris, and I’d love you to join me. It’s taking place at their Chiswick store (my local one) on Saturday 6th May from 2-6pm. Put it in your diary! There will be an exclusive discount on the day, bubbles (to drink), nibbles, and a children’s entertainer (Iris also has a small (but perfectly formed) edit of babies’ and children’s clothing and accessories, Little Iris) between 3-4pm, so if you want to bring your little one/s and also have your hands free to shop, then this is the time slot for you.
I will be sharing my favourite ‘Little Spree Loves…’ pieces on the the day (basically my Iris ‘Wish List’ – it’s long…), and will be on hand to help with any styling help/advice you might need/want.
If you’re not already familiar with Iris, it’s a gorgeous little London boutique (such a rarity these days with all the online giants and high street stores), in three different London locations (Chiswick, Queen’s Park and Northcote Road) stocking a cleverly curated edit of the most gorgeous, but ultimately wearable brands. If you’re looking for head-to-toe runway looks, this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for a one-stop shop of cool, but low-key pieces (many with that slightly pretty, folky vibe I always gravitate to) that you didn’t even know you wanted, let alone needed until you started browsing the racks, this is definitely the place you’ll want to be. Little Spree favourites such as Isabel Marant Étoile, A.P.C, MasscobJerome Dreyfus, SoeurMes Demoiselles, Vanessa Bruno Athé (above), and their own collection By Iris, which, if you love these brands, you’re really going to love (and the price points are pretty lovable too).
I had a good old try-on the other day – I so rarely get to do that anymore, and these trousers were my absolute favourite of everything I tried on (and I tried on a lot!!). I generally find shopping for ‘bottom halves’ a lot harder and frustrating than shopping for ‘top halves’. Don’t we all? I fell for these trouser (more of ‘pant’ I would say actually…) as soon as I put them on. A quick roll of the legs and a half-tuck of my shirt and I was smitten. I happened to be wearing flat sandals at the time, and they were perfect, but I would definitely also wear them with a high sandal for a dressier look. I am actually wearing them today with my New Look oatmeal sweater (remember that one?). They are SO comfy! I also got this this top, this Isabel Marant Étoile coat (I’ve had my eye on this for a while now – I like that it’s slightly padded, but still light, and not bulky, and the lining is cotton), and this gorgeous top (two of my all-time favourites, blue and white stripes and ruffles, combined in one top. It’s not currently on their website, so you will have to pop into a store to see it, but it’s also stocked here.
Lovely Lisa from Edit.58 (now stocked at Iris) will also the there on the day, selling her gorgeous wares – rugs and baskets galore.
So pop in and say hello, or come and hang out for the afternoon – either way, I’d love to see you. Be warned though – you’re going to want everything…

Iris, 129 Chiswick High Road, London W4 2ED. See you there!

Sarah xx
