If I was a child again, I like to think I would be dressed mostly (scrap that – completely!) in Tocotó Vintage. And I’d like to be styled by them too!
If you’re not familiar with this beautiful brand, Tocotó Vintage hails from Formentera, the sun-soaked Balearic island off the coast of mainland Spain. Founder Marta Navarro, who lives there with her family, is inspired by old patterns and garments she has sourced in antique markets during her travels. Coupled with her sensibilities for vintage details, she brings to life clothing that is nostalgic, romantic and beautifully executed, for little boys and girls aged 0 to twelve years old (yes, a gorgeous brand that dresses our little ones even where they’re not so little any more…) . It’s also one of the few children’s brands that I love equally for boys and girls (Tabitha and Marlow both have pieces that they love and wear on repeat – they adore the soft, laundered fabrics and the ease of the comfy shapes and styles – so clever). I could write paragraphs on what I love about their cool, but whimsical new collection, aptly entitled ‘The Bazaar’ (think romantic floral prints, glitter and lace, animal print and tweed, tulle, sheepskin, metallic lurex, lace, ruffles, pom poms – they’re all in there!!), but I won’t – these pics speak for themselves I think.
