One word: genius. These bags are indeed bloody genius. My only gripe? That they weren’t around when Tabitha and Marlow were babies, when I just chucked all their (and my) stuff into a huge Miu Miu bag that I’d scored at the Prada sample sale when I was pregnant). In their own words, TotesSavvy (loving that name too): “we believe in loving our handbags to the fullest. Never ditch them for a lackluster diaper bag. Instead, grab your favorite tote and let TotesSavvy do the heavy organising.”
In my words: no need to ditch you favourite designer handbag for a nasty baby changing bag (sorry, but most (not all) of them are hideous), just pop one of these carefully designed (all the pockets and nooks and crannies needed for all that baby paraphernalia you need to cart around with you) into whichever ‘regular’ bag you fancy using on that particular day. They come in a whole bunch of colours, and in three different sizes. They also include an insulated bottle pocket and a washable changing mat. Nice.
They also make it easier to switch bags. I don’t know about you, but every time I change handbags, I leave something in the last one (generally something pretty crucial).
Anyway, I first learned about Totes Savvy on the impossibly chic, and lovely Laura from The Fashion Bug Blog’s Instagram feed. If she’s using them, we definitely all need to take note.
ps: I can totally see why you would assume that this is a sponsored blog post, but it really isn’t. I simply want to share something that I think is just brilliant.
