Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year with the kids, and it’s almost upon us! It’s so much fun! Tabarlow LOVE dressing up and going trick or treating, and their outfits and sweet carrying vessels have evolved over the years. By far our favourites for collecting their swag are these embroidered trick or treat baskets from the ever-wonderful Edit.58.  They have used them for the past two years and they’re still going strong. Lisa is stocking them again now, but hurry, I know they’re selling out fast!
Last year we were kindly sent the fabulous and much-coveted ‘bat jams’ from The Bright Company. Tabarlow LOVED them and wore them way beyond 31st October. They have done them again this year, and have updated them a little. Still every bit as cool.
I also like to do a little ‘light’ decoration around the house. Love this bat bunting and spooky signs from Next. Inexpensive, stylish and suitably spooky. Perfect.
And if you like to get into the spirit (sorry) of things (I have been known to wear themed ears) with your little ones, how about one of these – bat sweatshirtbunny ears, striped sweater (kind of want this for non Halloween…), witches hatbat mask, kitty flats (not those ones), bat hair clip (kind of love this!) or devil horns perhaps?

ps: ok, so not necessarily your traditional spooky costumes, but how funny are these dress-up dinosaur and flamingo?? Just brilliant!

pps: T.K.Maxx is always a great place to find dressing-up costumes for kids. I have bought many amazing ones there over the years (from my local store in Kew), and they’re such great value. They have definitely been known to take a Tudor princess to a whole new level in our house…
