It’s that time again, when I share my favourites from Boden. Autumn is almost upon us (and I’m fine with that, as it’s actually my favourite season), and I’m ready to start easing into more ‘Wintery’ clothes. And I have to say, this Autumn collection is, in my opinion, one of Boden’s strongest. There are more pared down pieces (less busy patterns and prints), great cuts and shapes, and I earmarked some things months and months ago when I first styled them up in their head office. There are lots more fab pieces that have yet to drop, but when they do, I promise to share.
So far, I have this navy wool jacket, which I love (and if I had to, would probably say is my favourite piece, as I just know I will get so much wear out of it). I had a similar one last Winter from Mango, and I lived in it (and constantly got asked where it was from whenever I wore it). It’s kind of a cross between a jacket and a coat, so perfect for those Autumn days when you’re not quite ready, or cold enough, to bust out a full-on Winter coat. It’s just a great ‘chuck on’ jacket (and in fact, that was it’s ‘working title’ for a while! Also note, the black velvet ribbon trim. Love that detail.
I have this jumper in (surprise, surprise!!) grey and navy. It’s chunky, but not too chunky, and I’m pretty sure I’ll be living in them when the chill sets in, later in the year.
I haven’t got them yet, but I have this jumpsuit coming in the black and the khaki. It’s a great fit, and can be suitably dressy when needed to be (I would definitely say that a jumpsuit is my go-to ‘going out out’ outfit, and has been for some time now. I’ll be rolling up the sleeves and adding a little cuff to the trousers. Perfect.
I haven’t got this (and actually, it’s not officially ‘new’ either, but this cream blouse is a great Chloé-esque find, and would look great tucked into jeans (these are similar to my trusty J.Brand Selena’s)
ps: this dress isn’t particularly ‘me’, but I do really like it (the black, green and striped are my favourites)
