Cosy Candles

I first spied these pretty scalloped candle holders in a Christmas Gift Guide that my lovely friend, Lisa (Edit.58) had compiled (I think it was for E.S?). Within seconds (literally) I had ordered three! Now just to warn you, they are tiny (definitely smaller than I imagined, and of course, I never thought to actually check their measurements!!), so personally I feel a small group would work best (I have three, but plan to buy maybe two more?), but so beautiful. Perfect on a dinner table or  mantlepiece. I love the simplicity of their prettiness, if that makes sense?
Anway, it  got me thinking how much I LOVE lighting candles at home, particularity at this time of year. As I’m typing this (at around 2.00pm) I have a total of seven candles lit in my sitting room (including one scented). I just love all things cosy, and candles are such an easy way to achieve it, without having to spend loads of money. Personally I like the more ‘traditional’ styles, but I do like to mix up the shapes and sizes when I group them together. Out of my edit below, I have these (large and small) and  these (both sizes).

ps:  for my pillar candle sticks, I always buy my candles from M&S.

pps: I absolutely love these snowflake window stickers, and have been putting them every year for about  the last nine years. They look so magical.
