Remember the Christmas Gift Guide I compiled for Coal Drops Yard Kings Cross? Well they have asked me to do a Valentines version. Now you know how much I love a gift guide, but what I love (sorry…) about this particular one, is that they’ve approached the whole Valentine’s angle slightly differently; in keeping with our current times. And it really resonated with me. I think it will with you too. Instead of just focusing on one day (that’s a lot of pressure right there isn’t it, and let’s face it, the last thing any of us needs right now is any additional pressures…), why not dedicate the entire month of February to celebrating love, and giving a big virtual hug to all the people we care about? Who are the people who have kept us sane over this past 10 months? Who needs cheering up? How can we do something small that will make someone feel special? I have split the guides into four loose recipient categories – best friend, parent, neighbour, parent/carer, and lover/partner. Hopefully there’s something for everyone. You can shop them here.
Let’s go spread some love!
ps: I totally fell in love with this print by Lydia Wilson whilst compiling these guides, and it’s now framed and hanging on the wall in my landing.
